By statute, the Auditor is responsible for the management of the Stark County Information Technology Center and serves as the Chief Administrator of the Data Processing Board. The Data Processing Board approves the purchase of the hardware and software needs of different county entities. These purchases improve services, reduce costs and provide county officials with the tools needed to better administer the business of government.
Through its technical and solution development divisions, the Stark County Information Technology Center supports all aspects of information services for government offices in the county. Such services include consulting, programming, and network services as well as hardware, software, and logistical support. The IT Center provides local and remote support for over 750 users in the computer network for the county. See our Service Catalog for a more thorough listing of ITC services.
