The Stark County Honor Court is a Supreme Court Certified Specialized docket for veterans and active duty service members. Honor Court provides increased management to Veterans and active duty military personnel in the criminal justice system facing felony conviction. Initially focused on low-level, non-violent offenders, the program now includes high-risk offenders on a case-by-case basis. It is a minimum year-long program that collaborates with various legal and community organizations to assist veterans complete the program. The Stark County Honor Court program aims to connect veterans with services, provide supervision and mentoring, and use the values from their military service to support their rehabilitation and reintegration into the community, by way of the Courts motto: "Reclaiming Honor, Dignity, and Lives."
