The Health Department provides school nursing to one private school and four public schools across the county. Services are currently being provided through contracts with Marlington Local, Osnaburg Local, Tuslaw Local and Canton Country Day School. Services provided to the schools include: health assessments and screenings for vision, hearing, and scoliosis; immunization records review and state mandated reporting; first aid services; health education for students and staff; communicable disease management; medication administration management; developing and implementing health policies and protocols.
