Due to the popularity of tattoos, permanent cosmetic make-up, and body piercings, the number of Body Art establishments has increased. When getting Body Art, it is important to “know” your artist and to have it done at a permitted location. Permitted locations located within the Stark County Health Department’s jurisdiction are inspected regularly. Our inspections focus on determining if the establishment is in compliance with the rules and regulations adopted by the State of Ohio.
