Welcome to the Safe Kids Stark County website! Safe Kids is your clearing house for educational information about your child’s safety! Safe Kids was founded in 1992, under the leadership of the Stark County Health Department. Membership is free – and is open to anyone interested in child safety and injury prevention!
Mission
The mission of the Coalition is to reduce unintentional injury and death among children 17 and under in Stark County through sustainable community awareness and education.
Community Highlights
Safe Kids Stark County is a part of several different community events such as National Night Out, Trunk or Treat, Safety Cities, Community Baby Showers, and More.
Every May, Safe Kids partners with one of their local partners to put together an annual Safe Kids Day event. This is a free event for the whole community with activities at every table including arts and crafts, fire truck tour, car seat checks, and Safety Demos.
