  • Subdivision Review Application - Application is to be filled out for site improvement plans, preliminary plans and final plats/replats being submitted for review by the Regional Planning Commission at their regularly scheduled monthly meetings.  Submission deadline is the 17th of the month or next business day by noon if the 17th falls on a weekend or holiday.
  • Appeal of Denial - Appeals from the decisions made by Planning Commission staff on Divisions of Property without Plat and Administrative Waivers of Formal Site Improvement Plans shall be submitted no later than forty-five (45) days from date of decision.  If not received by the official filing date, as set by the Planning Commission for consideration at its next regularly scheduled meeting, it will be considered at the following regularly scheduled meeting.
  • Administrative Waiver Application  - An administrative waiver of formal site improvement plan may be requested for a small improvement or modification to an existing development, that will not impact storm water run-off or create additional access to existing streets.  Contact RPC prior to submitting to determine if the project will qualify for an administrative waiver.  Waivers are accepted on a rolling basis.
  • Variance Application - Applicants can submit a variance request for any modification of the strict terms of the relevant Stark County Subdivision Regulations.  These requests follow the same subdivision review cycle as site improvement plans, preliminary plans and final plats.  The submission deadline is the 17th of the month or next business day by noon if the 17th falls on a weekend or holiday and will be reviewed by the Regional Planning Commission at their regularly scheduled monthly meeting.
  • Subdivisions of Property Without Plat Within Unincorporated Area - An application is needed for each tract being created including remainders under 20 acres.  Tracts over 20 acres that involve the sale or transfer to adjoining property owners also require an application.  The applicant is responsible for obtaining the required signatures on the second sheet of the application for minor subdivisions and large lot divisions.  When completed, the application(s), deed(s) with legal description(s), survey map and closure data are submitted to the Auditor's Tax Map Office, which is then forwarded to RPC.
