The County Engineer's Office is asking anyone wishing to obtain a permit to please read this Notification Letter prior to requesting a permit. Please include a copy of the check in the amount that is needed for the permit you are requesting. Information should be emailed to our office using the contact information below:

Fee Schedule

The Stark County Engineer's Office sets permit fees based upon the reasonable cost of inspections and regulations required by this office for the permitted activity.  Standard fees are listed below.  However, special circumstances or requests may require an adjustment to these amounts.  The Fees are as follows:

  • Special Hauling Permits: $50.00
  • Right of Way Permits:
    • Infrastructure Projects Within Right-of-Way: fee to be determined based upon project, size, length, impact to traveling public, and required SCEO inspections / regulations. Fee Schedule Form
  • Aerial utility work / Facility location: fee to be determined based upon project size, length, impact to traveling public, and required SCEO inspections / regulations.
