Part-Time Employment 

Warehouse

Election Employees in the warehouse help prepare election equipment and organize supplies that are used at the polling locations.  Warehouse employees typically work about 35 hours per week for approximately 3-4 weeks prior to election day.  Pay rate is $14.25 per hour.

Absentee

Election Employees in the absentee ballot section work in bi-partisan teams to process applications and returned ballots for voters who choose to vote by mail.  Absentee employees typically work about 20-35 hours per week for approximately 6 weeks prior to election day.  Pay rate is $14.25 per hour.

Nursing Home

Election Employees in the nursing home section work in bi-partisan teams to assist voters confined in nursing homes.  Nursing home seasonal employees travel to the nursing homes and get reimbursed for mileage.  They work about 20-30 hours per week for approximately 3 weeks prior to election day. Pay rate is $14.25 per hour.

Early Voting

Election Employees in the early voting section check-in and assist voters at the Early Voting Center located within the Stark County Board of Elections.  The Early Voting Center is open 28 days prior to election day.  Early voting seasonal employees work about 20-30 hours per week for the 4 weeks prior to election day. Pay rate is $14.25 per hour.
