As the Stark County Prosecuting Attorney, my mission is to seek justice, ensure our communities and neighborhoods are safe, prosecute criminals, and assist victims of crimes.
The Stark County Prosecuting Attorney's Office provides legal advice and representation to county officials and certain governmental subdivisions.
This office also provides educational programs regarding the criminal justice system. We also offer programs concerning bullying, crime prevention, internet safety, safety for adults, children and the elderly and many more.
Stark County is the 8th most populous of the 88 counties in the State of Ohio. Approximately 380,000 people reside in Stark County with Canton as its County Seat. As Stark County’s Attorney and one of the Law Enforcement Officers, the Prosecutor oversees assistant prosecutors and staff personnel. In order to better serve the Stark County Community the office has the following divisions and sections: Criminal with Sections (Grand Jury and Trial), Administrative, Appellate, Civil, Juvenile, Public Relations & Community Initiatives, and Victim/Witness.
